With early frosts our season ended mid November and gave us a short period of time to work with soil. Now we are currently working on irrigation design, crop rotation/planting schedule and incorporating more permaculture concepts. Amidst the chaos of the barn restructure it is challenging to say the least. All very exciting and we are sure that 2019 will be a fertile and prosperous year!

This is the mole cricket or gryllotalpa that shared this years crop of potatoes. Anyone have any organic ways to repel these from the crops? We heard eggshells and beer traps but so far neither has worked. Nematodes could be the answer but wondering about other ways......
